About Us
Through grassroots efforts, the National Advocacy & Training Network (NATN) was incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit agency in January 2002 by a group of survivors, volunteers, advocates, and professionals. Our mission is to address the health, safety, economic and social justice issues related to domestic violence, sexual assault, and substance abuse through education, public awareness, and direct services.
In order to achieve our mission, we operate three main projects:
- Training and Technical Assistance;
- Support, Education, Empowerment & DirectionS (SEEDs);
- and Cup O’ Karma: Community Cafe for a Cause.
NATN provides training and technical assistance through its’ local and international network of survivors, advocates, and professionals. Last year, NATN trained 930 individuals about the dynamics of domestic violence.
